IV. Questions for
CANDIDATES FOR
Answer, call back, talk and be receptive.
I support most of the suggestions
for highway facilitation, city and county.
Examination of lot size alternatives.
Transportation and greenway considerations and the concept of compact
residential areas.
All avenues of revenue should be explored. I voted for a wheel tax and an adequate facilities tax in the past. There is still a .50 sales tax that should be looked at.
Support of senior activities and services which are already in place.
The law director has been shown to be more expensive, and not all departments could use that service.
More population, of course. Each segment of the county having the sense that this is a community. Preservation of open land and development of areas where citizens can work, play, and live in the same area.
