YOUTH COMMITMENT CONTRACT

CODE OF ETHICS

Dear Young Man:

We are happy to welcome you to the Mentoring Academy For Boys character enhancement program. As a member of the Mentoring Academy For Boys program you are agreeing to adhere to the following:

  1. I will respect my parents, my guardians, and all other individuals at all times.

  2. I will perform all chores requested by my parents and/or guardians.

  3. I will respect my school officials and perform all school work as requested.

  4. I will dress as a young man and take pride in the way I dress and talk. I will not wear earrings and pants hanging off my hips with shirt tail out of pants to meetings.

  5. I will maintain good hygiene by keeping my body clean and combing my hair.

  6. I will not participate in selling or taking drugs. Nor will I lie or steal.

  7. I will not participate in gang activities, nor become a member of a gang.

  8. I will not make fun of others, nor will I take advantage of others. I will help others.

  9. I will respect WOMEN and uphold their honor.

  10. I will participate in the activities of the Mentoring Academy For Boys.

  11. I will meet as required with my mentor as my parent/guardian permits.

  12. I will be a man that honors his commitment to God, his word, his family, his country, and his community.
