About KIMG	English (USA)
Knoxville Buddhist Meditation Group (formerly the Knoxville Interfaith Meditation Group) seeks to provide an opportunity for those who wish to explore and practice various kinds of Buddhist meditation - including mindfulness - within a very open context. We hope to deepen our centeredness, compassion, contemplation of truth, and awareness of ourselves and our world. We welcome everyone - with or without a religious affiliation. We currently meditate Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Aravinda Yoga and Healing Arts Center, 101 Westwood Road, (865) 357-5483, in West Knoxville under the guidance of John Blackburn. Eight dollars is the suggested donation. Beginning January 2012, we will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at members homes on a rotating basis. Everyone is welcome. Experience in meditation is not necessary. If you want to come, just come.
