About the Children's Library

The Children's Library was opened to the general public on January 25th, 2003.  The Children's Library contains books for children 13 years and under.  In addition, there are two Study Rooms available for children to do homework in, and computers set up for children and families to use.  Children using the computers must have his/her library card available, with fines under $5.00 to use the computers, and must sign up at the Children's Room Circulation Desk.

 

Story Time

The Children's Library offers Story Time programming Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m for infants and toddlers, Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. for preschool children, and Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. for all ages.    All children/families are invited to come. 

Please note that all Story Time activities will not be held starting Tuesday, May 27, due to the start of the Summer Reading Program.  Story Time programs will resume in July.
