For Parents
A section devoted to parenting books is available in the Children's Section. We also have an annual
Summer Reading Program. Please contact the librarian for more information about helping
and/or participating in the Summer Reading Program.
Book Sale
There is a year-round book sale at the Norris Community Library, as well as a yearly outdoor book
sale on the Fourth of July. Please come in and take a look. All of the proceeds benefit the library.
If you would like more information about the book sale, how to donate books, or how to volunteer at
the library, please contact the library director.
Interlibrary Loan
If you would like to borrow a books from another library, please ask the librarian to order it
for you. Most of the time there is no charge for this service, but occasionally there is a fee
of $5 or more. Please notify the librarian if you would be willing to pay a fee, and how high a
fee you are willing to pay. If we borrow a rare book for you, it is expected that there will be
a fee.
Fax & Photocopy Machines
A fax machine is available for $1 a page incoming or outgoing. Photocopies are available for
$.10 a copy with legal sized sheets available. In the near future, a scanner
and color printer will be available for the public. Be sure to visit the What's New
section for updates.
Tax Forms
The library provides access to tax forms via the World Wide Web. Visit
http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/forms_pubs/
to find to the IRS tax forms you need.
