Neighborhood Watch

To be an active Neighborhood Watch participant is simple! First, sign up with your block captain. Then remember to do these things:
1. Know your neighbors.
2. Keep your property secure.
3. Report suspicious activity to the police.

Oakwood Lincoln Park currently has three active Neighborhood Watches. Our goal is to have the entire area involved and that includes you!

You are encouraged to start a Neighborhood Watch on your block. Simply print a copy of the sign-up sheet (see link below) and visit your neighbors to get their signatures. To get more information and handouts for your neighbors, please email OLPNA or come to a neighborhood meeting (the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 in the Christenberry Clubhouse).

To print a copy of the Sign-Up Sheet, click here: Neighborhood Watch Sign-up Sheet. Also available is the Neighborhood Watch Information Card which has essential information for participants of Neighborhood Watch. Give each person who signs up a copy of the card to use as a handy reference card. Provide copies of the petition to Connie Loy so that she can add those who signed up to the newsletter mailing list. Also provide a copy to Emily Ellis so that she can add them to the neighborhood email discussion list. Being captain does NOT mean that participants on your block report crimes to you. Crimes should be reported to the police.
You are available to recruit participants, answer questions and for any administrative purposes. Once you have collected the signatures you need (at least 50% of households), you will have minimal responsibility.
