Christenberry
Elementary School
925 Oglewood Ave.
Serves grades K-5. It opened in 1996, combining the former Brownlow,
Lincoln Park, and Oakwood Schools. It was built on the site of Christenberry
Junior High School
(later Middle School), which closed in 1991. (The
current Christenberry Elementary School is pictured to the right.)
Whittle Springs Middle School
2700 White Oak Lane
Serves grades 6-8. It opened in 1960 and was recently expanded by
the addition of twelve classrooms.
Fulton
High School
2509 North Broadway
Serves grades 9-12. It opened in 1951 and has recently had a complete
renovation with the addition of a gymnasium and other facilities.
Fulton was the first comprehensive high school in Knoxville (including
both college preparatory and vocational program).(pictured to the
left)
Lincoln
Park Technology and Trade Center
535 Chickamauga Avenue
Offers the 16-17 year-old GED Option Program during the day and
apprenticeship and various trades classes in the evenings.
