MEETINGSAugust 2006 September 2006 |
Join us on July 19, 2007 as The Oak Ridge PC Users Group holds the second meeting of the 2007 User Group “SUMMERFEST”! Once again, this upcoming meeting will be presented by Steve Peyrot, currently serving as one of the Board of Directors within APCUG (Association of Personal Computer User Groups). Steve incidentally is one of the co-founders of the original Oak Ridge PC Users Group that used to meet at Adroit’s back in the early to mid 90’s… Even though much enjoyment and enlightenment was a benefit of the attendees of the June meeting, Steve promises that the July meeting will be even better! Steve will perform many live demonstrations on some of the most useful, powerful, and FREE software around! By attending this meeting, Steve promises that you’ll go home with lots of good “stuff”! A nice CD-ROM containing a copy of all the software that Steve will present will be available to all attendees for the low cost of ZERO! Little hint – If your Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware, Anti-Phishing, and Firewall software are due for renewal anytime soon or are just not quite up to par, Steve will include a set of programs for each of these applications that are 5-star rated by CNET and PC World on the July CD-ROM disk at absolutely no cost! These applications will not be trial versions or versions that run out after just a few days – And this is just ONE of many things that Steve will have at the July meeting!! During this second SUMMERFEST 2007 session, Steve will also discuss some of the developments of the upcoming South Eastern regional User Group conference that will be held in the Orlando area in March of 2008. Steve will discus other user group relations information from UGs around the nation. Please plan on attending the this meeting. You will not regret doing so! This will also be a great opportunity for you to bring a friend and introduce them to our user group.
As usual, there will be a question-and-answer session prior to the program at which members may present any recent problems to the group. Return to the ORPCUG Home Page. |
