The Meeting for Thursday, June 21, 2007, will be a presentation by:

Steve Peyrot, Vice President of APCUG

2007 User Group SUMMERFEST!

Join us on June 21, 2007 as The Oak Ridge PC Users Group kicks off our 2007 User Group "SUMMERFEST"!

The June and July meetings will be presented by Steve Peyrot, currently serving as Vice President of APCUG. Steve incidentally is the founder of the original Oak Ridge PC Users Group that used to meet at Adroit's backroom in the early to mid 90's…

For the June and July meetings, Steve will perform many live demonstrations on some of the most useful, powerful, and FREE software called: PA's. Note: If you attend, Steve has promised that you'll go home with lots of good "stuff"! Bring a 1GB or larger USB drive if you have one. If not, you'll get a CD.

Now, PA's are not just another type of freeware application. They are unique in their size and their transportability is awesome! To fully appreciate PA's, you will have to see them in action and see their usefulness! In terms of complexity, the selection that Steve will be providing are all easy to use and just about every user will benefit from having them!

To be the first to get your hands on all this software, you must attend this meeting. If you can not attend, we will post the download link on this website, a day or so after the meeting.

During SUMMERFEST 2007, Steve will also discuss some of the developments and announcements from the recent APCUG Board Officers meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma plus numerous of other user group news from APCUG member communities including efforts by APCUG to begin planning for hosting a national conference on the east coast during 2008.

Please plan on attending these next two meetings. You will not regret doing so! They will also be a great opportunity for you to bring a friend and introduce them to our user group.
