Japanese Food Tasting

Shigeko and friends provided an enthusiastic crowd of current and prior Naka Middle School visitors with a "Taste Of Japan" food tasting hosted by Mike Hilliard, SCSO Vice President, at First Presbyterian Church.

Traditional Japanese dishes, sushi (from WASABI provided by Ken Luckmann) and good old "mac and cheese" for those with more traditional American food tastes provided a great eating experience for those attending.   

A   B I G   thanks to our Japanese American members who provided the great food and kimonos:  Shigeko Uppuluri (above), and (below) Yasuko Hill, Tseuneko Millet, Shigemi Sims, Setsuko Harris and Katie Odom.	Naka school exchange participants from last year (above) and this year (below) had a great time learning about the flavors of Japanese food and using chop sticks.
