and I were really looking forward
to another brilliant day like
we had at Cades Cove.
Instead we viewed Norris Dam in a drizzle.
Visiting the Museum of Appalachia and hearing the
personal
rendition of "If I knew you were coming, I'd a baked
a cake....cheered us all. However, the last breakfast , with more new
foods like cooked oatmeal and peanut
butter was still somber.
Another wet day greeted us outside but a
tour of the property
was still enjoyed. Ohhhh it is so big and quiet and beautiful here.
