Operating Hours and Extended Care
Normal business hours for PCK are from Monday through Friday from 7:30
a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Extended care is available for additional fees until
6:00 p.m. Children who are enrolled for extended care must be picked up
by 6:00 p.m.
Attendence
Monthly enrollment is established and schedules are distributed to the
staff prior to the start of each month. If you cannot attend PCK (or will
be late) on a scheduled day, we ask that you call and let our director
know. If you need additional care please check with the director in advance
for available space. Tuition is a monthly or weekly fee. Absences
due to vacation, illness, snow days, etc. will not be credited.
If there is no waiting list in your classroom your first bill may be prorated
for the days your child attends only.
Drop-In Days
PCK offers drop-in care if space is available. If you need care on a day
for which you are not scheduled check with the director in advance for
drop-in availability. Drop-in days require additional fees. Drop-in days
are not "swapped" with absences. If your child is here on a
day he/she is not enrolled, there will be additional fees on your next
invoice.
Visiting Members
We have an open door policy for families of PCK. We welcome all parent
participation as long as it does not distract from your child's experience.
Parents may visit in the classroom at any time. If you wish to participate
in activities or meals please be considerate and let the teacher know
ahead of time. It is important, however, to realize that your presence
at school may disrupt an activity or distract the children.
Items from Home
Each week children need to bring several itmes to school. These items
include:
Morning snack: usually a bread, fruit and or sippy cup
of milk, water, or juice.
Lunch: protein, bread, vegtable, and/or fruit, and a
sippy cup of milk, water, or juice.
Nap: crib-fitted sheet and a blanket.
Change of clothes: children often have accidents during
potty training or while playing outside. Please keep an extra set of underwear,
pants, and a top at school.
* Children are welcome to bring one toy to school to snuggle with
during nap time. All additional toys will be kept in the PCK office for
parent pick up.
Records
Documentation of immunizations become the property of PCK and must be maintained in our files. If you decide to withdraw your child from the program we must comply with HIPPA regulations and will not be able to give you copies of your child's immunization records because we are not the child's provider. We are also required by law to keep copies of the children's records.

All PCK classes will be closed on these days:
- Labor Day
- Thankgiving Holidays (Thursday & Friday)
