The Pellissippi District Camporee was a huge success with 10 troops and over 160 scouts participating. Camp was set up at the primitive camp ground of Norris State Park. Saturday afternoon Troops put their skills to the test and floated their homemade rafts down the Clinch River. The rafts were put in at the weir dam below Norris Dam and scouts floated to the Peach Orchard Boat Access. Saturday evening scouts enjoyed a "Chuckwagon" dinner and cobbler competition, followed by a campfire with skits and awards.
