[EQAB-list] Re: meeting with city attorney

As directed at the last EQAB meeting, I met with Ken Krushinski on
Tuesday to discuss moving our recommended ordinance changes before the
City Council.  He said that the first thing to do is for Jimmy to write a
detailed letter to O'Conner and copy him (Ken) stating our
recommendations and the unanimous vote of EQAB.  He made it clear that he
has limited time to research ordinances in other cities and states in
order to make the appropriate presentation to the Council.  Therefore, he
strongly recommended that we also do active research and provide that to
him.  I know that we also have limited time, but if all of you will begin
to search the web for similar laws/ordinances, I will be happy to do the
same and coordinate what you find into a packet for Ken.
