(Sept. 16) The Technical Society of Knoxville
<http://www.technicalsociety.net>  will meet Monday, Sept. 22, at 11:30
a.m., at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Knoxville. Drew Thurmand, Knox County
Recycling Coordinator, will be the speaker. The title of his
presentation will be, "Impact of Transportation Logistics and Costs on
the Efficiency of Recycling." Note that this event constitutes a
professional development hour for professional engineers. 

The cost is $12 for a buffet lunch (which includes tip and parking) or
$7 for those who do not purchase lunch (which includes a cover charge
and parking). Guests are welcome.
