Thank you Joe.? Your methodology last night was most helpful in getting us started. Will you or Athanasia be sending us the Mission statement/criteria/criteria ranking?

Subject: [EQAB-list] Work Session Follow-up
Everyone,
?
Thank you for participating in the work session last night. ? I think now that
we have established a working Mission Statement for the greening effort, and
developed objectives and criteria based on the new Mission Statement, our
efforts to prioritize ideas and provide meaningful input to the city will go
much smoother.
?
Although we accomplished a great deal last night, we were not able to get to the
SWOT analysis. ? I think it would still be a good idea for each of us to go
through the process individually and bring our lists of Strength, Weaknesses,
Opportunities and Threats to the next work session (Feb. 19, 2009). ? This will
provide a good validation of the criteria we developed from the Mission
Statement, and help keep us grounded as we evaluate implementation of the most
favorable ideas. ? For example, s ome ideas might be really great, but not be
plausible for implementing in Oak Ridge . ? The SWOT analysis will help us as we
make some of these determinations. ?
?
The attached file gives an overview of the process and includes a list of
leading questions to help you through the process. ? Please complete your
individual SWOT analysis and?bring ? your lists to the next work session
February 19, 2009.
?
Thank you once again for your participation and enthusiasm.
?
Joe
