Are you aware of a recently retired scientist who thrives on interaction with students, and would like to make a difference in the lives of the next generation of researchers? Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is searching for an individual to place on a subcontract to assist in coordinating enrichment activities for Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) student programs. This would be a part-time endeavor with heavier participation in the spring/summer months when ORNL/ORISE has a large contingent of student participants. 



This individual should have a broad knowledge of the Laboratory and be able to schedule presenters for weekly seminars and tours; coordinate with students regarding abstracts, research papers, posters, and delivery of these items to DOE-HQ; help in the design, implementation, and coordination of mentor training and follow-up; assist with orientations, poster sessions, and student symposiums; and assist ORISE staff in numerous other activities.
