"Isotope Production at Oak Ridge National Laboratory"
Julie G. Ezold, R&D Staff Member in the Nuclear Material Processing Group of the Nuclear Science and Technology Division at ORNL

Abstract:
The title of the presentation is "Isotope Production at Oak Ridge National Laboratory". The presentation will cover ORNL's role in producing both stable and radioisotopes as well as the applications of these materials. 


ORNL has a rich and diverse history in the production of isotopes, both stable and radioactive. These isotopes are utilized in medical, industrial, and research applications worldwide. Currently, ORNL has very unique capabilities to continue not only the production of isotopes, but the research and development of new capabilities and applications.

Lunch by the Soup Kitchen will be $7.00 and includes at least 2 choices of
hot soup, choice of sandwich, pickle, chips, choice of iced tea or hot coffee,
and choice of dessert.

As always, registered professional engineers who attend shall receive
one (1) PDH certificate.

DIRECTIONS TO MEETING LOCATION

Our meeting location is the white-colored
building at 1201 Oak Ridge Turnpike (State Highway 95)
between Taco Bell and Applebee's
at the intersection of the Turnpike and
Rutgers Ave (at Traffic Light #7).

At the south-west corner of the white-colored building
there is an entrance with a canopy.
Caution - - there is an additional entrance with
a canopy close by - - the entrance we use is that
closest to the Jameson Inn. The glass door is identified as
"The University of Tennessee - University Outreach & 
Continuing Education."
