FREE FISHING DAY, Saturday, June 12 at Concord Cove Park
Adults and Children may come and go between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The event features hands-on instruction, plenty of fishing, food and door prizes given away throughout the day. "It is important for the community to recognize fishing as a wholesome sport that promotes communication and brings families together," said Mayor Mike Ragsdale.

"One of our goals is to reach children who haven't fished before," said Joe Durnin, Wildlife Officer with TWRA.
