Moses Teen Center Community Carnival

This year’s theme
“Abstinence by Choice… My Choice… A Positive Choice.”

SAVE THE DATE

Saturday, May 1, 2004
11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Carnival Location:  Moses Teen Center
220 Carrick Street

Purpose: To bring the community together and provide youth and the members
of the community with positive alternatives to negative behaviors such as
pre-marital sex, drinking, and violence.

The Carnival will include
Talent Showcase
Informational Booths
Food vendors
Carnival Games and activities for youth
Yard Sale sponsored by Inner City Optimist

Faith based groups, non-profit organizations, and community groups can set
up booths during the carnival to raise awareness of their positive
activities for youth.  There will be no cost for any community group wanting
to participate.

Looking for volunteers to man youth rides, to assist with activities, and to
help with set up and clean up on the day of the event.
