Knoxville's Promise is gearing up for our second year offering the Women's
Sports Foundation's GoGirlGo! program.  Some of the details are listed below
and I am attaching the registration form.  Information is also available
on-line at www.knoxvillespromise.org.

Please contact me if you have any questions about volunteering (orientation
is June 2), registering a group of girls, or donating incentive items.  We
also still need help securing in-kind donations for breakfast and lunch.

WHAT is GoGirlGo!: An enrichment program designed by the Women's Sports
Foundation that reinforces the many ways that participating in sports can
assist young people in setting educational goals. Participants will learn
about such non-traditional sports as golf, tennis and yoga!


WHO should participate? Young women, Ages 12 - 18



WHEN is GoGirlGo!?

Golf Week, Monday June 7-Friday, June 11

Location: Wee Course at Williams Creek

Tennis Week, Monday, July 12- Friday, July 16

Location: Vine Middle Magnet School

All sessions run from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM



Attendance is limited to the first 50 girls for Golf Week and 200 for Tennis
Week.  Girls are expected to attend day of their chosen week and they can
register for both if desired.
