Homeowner's Secure Paper Collection- Saturday, November 10 from 10am to 2pm at Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church, 7290 Middlebrook Pike near the corner of Vanosdale Rd. Residents can bring personal documents, such as medial and financial records, for secure destruction and recycling. Old cells phones will also be collected for recycling. Come celebrate America Recycles Day on Thursday November 15 in Market Square from 11am-2pm. There will be info tables and a large visual representation of the average American's trash for a year. We will be giving away prizes. You will also have the chance to buy compost bins and attend a short workshop on composting at 12:30 and 1pm. Many of Knoxville's "Greenest" will be there to answer your questions on being "Greener" or more environmentally concerned.
