Hello, fellow Arrowmen. I hope this season finds you in the best of spirits. As 
I am about to leave town for a (well-deserved, I should think) vacation, I would 
like to share with you all a wonderful opportunity that has presented itself to 
our Lodge. A youth-based organization in East Knoxville called Teen Challenge 
has a need for some sanding and sheetrocking. This will benefit a house they are 
turning into a young women's crisis center. The date we as a Lodge will descend 
upon this house in service has been set for the third Saturday of January. In 
case this seems a little far into the future for some of you, reminders will be 
sent out closer to the date. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to give to 
our community and help those in need in our own backyard. Below you will find a 
feast information to... feast upon. Keep in touch over the holidays; I know I will.

What: sanding and sheetrocking for Teen Challenge

When: Saturday, January 17th, 2004
10:00 AM until 5:00 PM
please come and go as your schedule permits

Where: behind the Teen Challenge house in East Knoxville
Directions: traveling East on I-40, east of the I-275 junction
take the Cherry St. exit (exit 290)
turn right onto Cherry
turn left onto Magnolia
turn right onto Milligan
turn left onto Linden
pass the Teen Challenge house on your right (there is a small banner above the 
front porch)
turn right onto Mary
turn right onto Martin Luther King, Jr.
we will be parking in the first driveway on your right

If you are traveling West on I-40, the directions are identical with the slight 
exception that instead of turning right onto Cherry St. (in step 2), you will 
turn left.

Again, if there are any questions other than what materials are needed that need 
to be addressed before I send out a reminder early next month, please call.
