Internet safety programs in libraries - examples sought

This Friday, July 20, ALA will be participating in an educational event for Members of Congress on the topic of Internet safety. The purpose of this event is to inform Members of Congress of the kinds of Internet safety education efforts going on in community organizations like libraries, and to encourage them to partner with these organizations in activities like town hall meetings.

The ALA Washington Office has a request:

As part of the ALA display, the Wash. Office would like to show some of the Internet safety programs going on in libraries across the country. If your library has an active Internet safety program and has a web page about that effort, please send the link to Andy Bridges at abridges at alawash.org. ALA will be printing and displaying entries/examples they receive.

Thanks

Margaret Hausauer, 2007 TASL President
