Volunteer Voices, the IMLS-funded grant project whose purpose is to create a statewide digital collection of primary resources concerning "The Growth of Democracy in Tennessee," is now available, in BETA version.

There are two methods to explore the collection.

a.. Method One: simple search box located in the upper right-hand corner of the banner (www.volunteervoices.org)
b.. Method Two: on the Links tab (www.volunteervoices.org/links) follow the link to "Digital Collection"

Please keep in mind that the collection is still under development. We have a long way to go but we wanted to share our progress with you all as soon as possible.

Volunteer Voices will be discussed at the upcoming Tenn-Share Conference ( http://www.tenn-share.org/?p=105 ) in Nashville (Sept. 14).

Please feel free to send any questions or comments about the collection, the project, or involvement to Tiffani Conner. Volunteer Voices is for the state of Tennessee and we are striving to make this the premier site for primary resources. Volunteers to help are always welcome and there are many ways to assist.

Cheers,

Tiffani Conner
