[Tasl] library notices and how to distribute??

I give them to the homeroom teachers to hand out. I don't have time to
run overdues daily to hand out to each class that is coming to the
library that day. How long does it take for a teacher to hand them to a
student and say, "please, pass these out for me." Or, heaven forbid,
does that breach the student's confidentiality?

Subject: [Tasl] library notices and how to distribute??

Hello~
One of my more unplesant duties is to print off my overdue notices and
give them to the home room teacher to distribute. I have been doing it
this way for years, as some of the students don't always come to the
library with their classes.

My principal just sent me an email that I need to distribute the
notices during the the library class time to avoid giving the teachers
"... an extra duty" .

Grrrr now that makes my life even more fun. As the students won't
know about their overdue books when they come to class. I work in a
middle school and trying them to come to library prepared with pens and
their books is a major task.

So now I am asking you all for help in this matter. How do you
distribute your overdue listings?

thanks in advance for your help.

You see, I don't believe that libraries should be drab places where
people sit in silence, and that's been the main reason for our policy of
employing wild animals as librarians.
