Big news, y'all! Just last spring Diane Chen was elected to the ALA Council, the governing and policy-making body of ALA. Then at the beginning of this week at Midwinter, she was elected by the Council to serve on the Executive Board of Council. This is HUGE! She will be representing AASL and school libraries at the highest level of ALA governance.  I'm so proud of her and I know you are too!
