Just a reminder:
 
Two free webinars will be held on February 12, 2008, that will describe EBSCO's Points of View Reference Center--one of the new databases available through the Tennessee Electronic Library.  I have provided access information for both sessions at the bottom of this message.  You may choose to attend either of the two sessions scheduled:  9:00 a.m. CST (10:00 a.m. EST) or 3:00 p.m. CST (4:00 p.m. EST).  If you plan to attend, please email me at pat.grossman at state.tn.us so that I may pass along the attendee list to the EBSCO trainer.
 
 Some of the key features will include:
 
*  Overview of Points of View Reference Center Content
 
*  Browsing by Category
 
*   Presentation of "Point and Counterpoint" arguments and the "Guide to Critical Analysis"
 
*  Reviewing  "How To" options  to develop writing skills 
 
*  Conducting searches on additional topics
 
*  Saving articles and arguments to "My Folder"
 
 
 
***Prior to the Meeting***

Click here  ( http://ebsco.interwise.com/ebsco/Default.asp?target=downloadnouser&flin )to download and install the web conferencing software to your computer prior to the online training.
 
 
***On the day of the Meeting--Morning Session***
 
To Join the Morning Meeting 9:00 a.m. CST (10:00 a.m. EST) 
 
Up to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time,
 
1.  Enter the following URL in your browser address bar:
http://ebsco.interwise.com/ebsco/meet
 
2.  Enter your First Name, Last Name and Email Address. This is
for identification purposes only during the training session. 
 
(To avoid having to enter this information during future online training sessions, you may select the box next to Remember my name and email address.)
 
3.  Enter the following Event ID#: 484947
 
4.  Select the button, "Join Now".
 
5.  Please wait while the web conferencing software loads, if you have not done so previously.  (It only takes 1 -2 minutes) 
 
6.  Complete the instructions in the "Choose Audio Device" pop-up window.  (For more information on the audio choices, click here ( http://support.ebsco.com/knowledge_base/detail.php?id=1973 ) .)
