Just to give you a heads-up, the next meeting of the East Tennessee Library Association (http://www.lib.utk.edu/~etla/) will be on Thursday, November 13, from 6-8 PM at the Clinch-Powell Regional Library Center in Clinton.  Here's your opportunity to learn what Tennessee's regional libraries are all about in the next stop on our Year of the Library Tour.

We'll reserve the first half-hour for food and refreshments.  Then, after a brief business meeting, Director Susan Simmons will give us a tour of the Center and explain how twenty public libraries in a six-county area depend on the professional services provided by the Regional Library.  The Center is located at 130 North Main Street (Highway 25W). http://www.tennessee.gov/tsla/regional/CPRL/index.htm. 

We hope to see you there!  You do not need to be a member of ETLA to attend programs. But membership is only $10 for a year or $15 for 2 years, so what are you waiting for?
