Greetings All!

> After DataFest on September 11, 2008, from 5:00-5:30 pm, please join us for a tour of our digitization work areas.  We'll show you our equipment, including our new BookEye 3 planetary scanner, and tell you about the Nashville Public Library's Digital Collection (http://digital.library.nashville.org/portal/).  Our tour will end in the library's new Special Collections Center, where we will briefly demonstrate some of the ways we are making our digital materials accessible.  If you would like to participate in this tour, please meet near the service desk in the Nashville Room on the library's second floor at 5:00 pm.

After the tour, please stay for the Volunteer Voices Gala at 5:30 p.m. in the Special Collections Center.  Refreshments will be served as we celebrate our statewide digitization collection in all its splendor!
