We are only a week and a half away from the SIS Alumni & Friends Day on
March 7, from 1 - 4 p.m. at UT Hoskins Library Delivery Hall. I hope
that you will join us for this interesting and festive event.
This year's theme, "the Records Professions," explores the convergences
and divergences of archives and records management. This program will
uncover where these disciplines have traditionally differed, and yet how
the emergence of digital libraries is now bringing these two disciplines
together. What is Archives 2.0? Records Management 2.0? We have a
gathered a panel of experts to answer this question.
Also, come and join us in celebrating the life and work of Dr. Mike
Pemberton who will retire at the end of spring term 2009.
This event is free and open to the public, and parking is free at the
door.
