The University of Tennessee's Center Children's and Young Adult Literature has been reorganized and will now be managed by the School of Information Sciences. Its non-circulating review collection will eventually be housed in the Communications Building near the SIS Office.

As part of the CCYAL's 10th anniversary, the organization will host four author visits in the fall and spring of 2009-2010. Included in that list are Chris Grabenstein, Susan Campbell Bartoletti, Deborah Wiles, and Deborah Ellis.

On August 1, the CCYAL will hold its first annual book sale in Market Square. Many "like-new" picture books, novels, and non-fiction titles will be available for purchase. The event will run from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

For more information about the CCYAL and its events, please visit its newly revamped web site at:

Take care
Scot
