[Tasl] Summer seminars

Kudos to Judy for so graciously volunteering her time! I wish I could have attended and would have traveled there except that family obligations prevented me from doing so. My request for East Tennessee was for the ease of all on this side of the state and I'm sure West Tennessee would appreciate something like this as well. Our school is, like all others I'm sure, focusing on the new standards and I'm just a bit panicky at not being totally up to speed. I meant no insult and again, I say, "Thanks, Judy, for helping us out!"

Julie and all,
,
Please let me tell everyone that all of Judy Bivens' time to offer
these workshops was purely voluntary, not to mention the fact that
Judy volunteered to do the workshop for TASL. She is a professor at
Trevecca so that is why she held the workshops there. Perhaps you can
find someone in East TN from ETSU or UTK to do a similar inservice.
I wish everyone could have attended one of Judy's sessions. It was a
very worthwhile day. We did have a librarian who came from Maryville
to attend as well as two from Chattanooga.
