[Tasl] Learn & Discover - Catching Up and Taking Stock

Hello everyone!  

Good news!  It's Catch-up Week over at the TENN-SHARE Ning.  

First off, we understand.  It's an extremely busy time of the school year, but Learn & Discover was designed with a place to catch your breath.  That's why this week's task is not so much a task as a chance to take stock of what you've accomplished, share your success with the team, and spread some Learn & Discover love.

Prizes!  You heard correctly.  There are shiny new mp3 players in the future of the first 100 of you who complete all eight(8) Learn & Discover tasks.  Start reserving yours today by reporting your progress to date.  (You'll find a simple online form linked from the Catch-up page.)  

As a note, there's also a spot on the form to tell us about any trouble you may have encountered with the program.  We are aware that some of you may not be able to access Ning from school.  Wendy Cornelisen, Project Coordinator, contacted ENA (the largest ISP for school systems in the state) for a global unblock, and many of you achieved access as a result.  Thanks, Wendy!  Also, some discovered the block was local and were able to unblock by contacting their system network administrators directly.  If you are still having difficulty, check with your IT department, technology coordinator, or network administrator for help.

Finally, there's another bit of fun happening this week at Ning.  It's a contest, of sorts.  Listen up!

Well, here's your chance to spread the Learn & Discover love by voting on several categories - Best Avatar, Best Page, etc.  There's even a spot to recognize facilitators and mentors.  So take a moment to nominate yourself or someone else for a job well done.  And, by the way, kudos to everyone!
