Volunteer State Book Awards
The Volunteer State Book Award is given annually by the Tennessee Library Association to the author whose book was chosen by the students in Tennessee schools as their favorite. Approximately twenty books are selected each year for the competition. Any student who has read or heard at least three of the books is eligible to vote. Students at Farragut Primary School vote during the month of March.
