Birthday Book Club
Your child is invited to join the Birthday Book Club by donating a book to the library so that we can also celebrate his/her birthday!! A birthday bookplate imprinted with your child's name and birthdate will be placed in the book and your child's picture will be posted on the Birthday Book Club wall in the library. Your child will also receive a "Happy Birthday" pencil. Children with summer birthdays are welcome to celebrate anytime during the school year.
Teacher Honor Books
A very special way to say "thank you" to a teacher or other staff member for a job well done is to donate a book in his/her honor to the library. This is a lasting tribute which will be enjoyed by FPS students for years to come. When you choose to donate an honor book, a picture of the honoree with your child will be taken and posted in the library. A bookplate with your child and the teacher's name will be placed in the book.
Books may be purchased from the Farragut Primary School library's collection of books that are ready for circulation and have a special binding needed for use by young children. Hardback books with library binding are also welcome.
