Wayne Conner |
Bro.
Conner was appointed the minister of Scarboro Church of
Christ in November 2007. A native of Trenton, NJ, he served as a youth
minister for over 15 years and later became the Associate Minister for the
Clinton Ave. Church of Christ, in Trenton. He established several youth
programs, including an annual youth conference, and has participated in
lectureships, gospel meetings and seminars. He is married to Elaine, and
together they have one son, two daughters, and three grandchildren. The
Conners live in Knoxville. |

James Steele, Sr.
|
Bro. Steele is the song leader. He is a faithful
Christian of 46 years. Jim currently sits on the Knoxville Christian
School Board, where he served as Chairperson for three years. He also
serves on the Board of the Hillbrook Christian Camp Association and is a Steering
Committee member of the Tennessee State Youth Conference. Jim is an
Officer of the Anderson County Election Commission. He and his wife, Mary
Sue, have lived in Oak Ridge for 46 years, and they have two children and
four grandchildren. |

Ralph Collins |
Bro. Collins is the treasurer.
Ralph was born in
Baltimore, Maryland. He was raised in Knoxville, and graduated from Rule
High School in 1981. He was baptized at Park City Church of Christ, in
Knoxville. A former soldier, he served in the U.S. Army from 1983-1990.
Ralph married his wife, Melonie, in 1989 and has a step-daughter, Brianna.
His hobbies include exercise--running, reading, playing computer games and
chess, and watching the History, Discovery, and Learning channels. Ralph
has been an active member of the congregation since May 1990, working in
service to Christ. |

Joseph Moore |
Bro. Moore is the maintenance manager. Joe has been an
employee at Y-12 National Security Complex for 28 years, with over 20
years of management experience. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Tuskegee University. Joe serves as the President of the
Knoxville/Oak Ridge Tuskegee Alumni Club and of the Energy Valley
Toastmasters, where he received the Distinguished Toastmaster honor for
his accomplishments and leadership in the organization. He is a business
owner and a native of Huntsville, Alabama. Joe has been married to Delnise
for 22 years, and they have three children. The Moores reside in Oak
Ridge. Joe was baptized at Scarboro in 1982 and has been a member of the
congregation since that time. |
