SCARBORO DAY CARE CENTER
ABOUT US
OUR HISTORY AND PURPOSE
The Scarboro Day Care Center was opened in September of 1950 under the
sponsorship of the United Council of Church Women of Oak Ridge (now Church Women
United). The center was founded to assist working parents of lower economic
means with affordable quality child care. This continues to be Scarboro Day Care
Center's purpose today.
