SERVICES
Scarboro Day Care Center works collaboratively with other organizations and
agencies within the community to assess services for the children and families
served. Past collaborative efforts include free vision screening for preschool
children conducted by the Lion's Club of Oak Ridge ,
referring families to the Oak Ridge Schools
Preschool for children with developmental delays, referring parents to other
agencies that provide mental and behavioral services, and referring families to
programs offered by Aid to Distressed
Families.
In addition, the day care center networks with other
organizations striving to provide enrichment opportunities. Such agencies
include The Children's
Museum of Oak Ridge, Camp Fire
Girls and Boys, Boy's Club of
America, and Girl's Inc.
