Staff
Scarboro Learning Center maintains professional standards both in and out of the center. The teachers are required to obtain training in safety, CPR, First Aid, behavior management and age appropriate activities. All teachers are also required to meet one of the following criteria:
1) Have a degree in early childhood, elementary or special education.
2) Be enrolled at a college or university to receive a degree in early childhood, elementary or special education.
3) Have 2 or more years of experience in childcare.
All staff, teachers and volunteers are heavily screened including background and fingerprint checks. All aspects of children's behavior, parental situations, addresses and phone numbers will be held with the utmost confidentiality.
