![]() SENIOR HOUSING DIRECTORY A guide to finding housing for senior citizens in Anderson, Blount, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Roane, Sevier, and Union Counties, Tennessee.
The Quality of Senior Life Task Force of Nine Counties. One Vision. is proud to provide this first-ever Senior Housing Directory for the East Tennessee region. Nine Counties. One Vision. began in January 2000 with the goal of fostering a grassroots process designed to develop a roadmap to describe where the heart of East Tennessee can be in 10 to 15 years and how it can get there. The Quality of Senior Life Task Force, a group of dedicated professionals and volunteers, has contacted residential properties in all nine counties to develop the information for the Directory. There is universal agreement that such a directory is an extremely valuable resource for service organizations, government agencies, and other organizations that serve the elderly–not to mention thousands of individuals and families who need to make important housing decisions, often on short notice. We also wish to thank the many housing facilities and service agencies that provided generous support for the costs of publishing and distributing the Directory. This is a true community effort!
