WE RESCUE AND REHOME ONLY DOGS TYPICALLY KNOWN AS "ENGLISH" BULLDOGS
WE ARE LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE

This is Pudge.  He is a seven yeas old neutered male who is an owner surrender because he was not getting along with the young children in the family.  Pudge is UTD date on his shots and  housebroken. He is a sweet boy, not destructive and will not need to be crated.  He has had Entropion surgery and will need medication for dry eye and probably some pain medicine as he has a bad left hip.  He will need a family where he can be his laid back self with no young children and probably no other dogs. We would like his new family to agree to keep in touch with the surrendering family. If you are interested in adopting Pudge, please fill out our application  and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

This is Gus.  Gus is a  very active 9 year old  neutered Bullie who is an owner surrender because his mistress was hospitalized and no longer able to care for him.  Gus is going to need a very special family because he was boarded for almost two months and is starved for human contact.  He is very attention seeking and loves to be near his people.   Gus is UTD on his shots and heartworm negative.  Gus has very bad vision and had multiple problems with his right eye which had to be removed.  His left eye will need daily medication.  Despite the vision problems he gets around fine, especially when it comes to finding treats or people food on a table or counter.  He loves to find toys and bones to chew on and carry them back to his bed.  If you think you are the right family Gus please fill out our application and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-5570.

This is Zeus (the moose! ), a 73 pound, young (12 to 24 months) neutered male, UTD on his shots. He was an owner surrender to the Houston, TX HS during hurricane Ike.   He appears to be crate trained and housebroken.  He is very energetic and affection seeking, but does not have a lot of indoor manners. He is very protective of his crate, food and toys around strangers but very docile once he is part of the family.   He will need a family who is willing to spend some time working with him and giving him some obedience training.  SMBC will reimburse the adopter for the training upon presentation of a certificate or receipt.  If you are interested in adopting Zeus please fill out our application and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

Floyd is not a Bulldog but.....he needs a home.
We are trying to help Michele find him a loving family.

We believe he is an Olde English Bulldogge mix. He is about 1.5 years old and currently weighs 55 lbs, but will probably continue to gain. He is up to date on shots. Floyd was found wandering around near the end of April nearly starved to death. He weighed 30 lbs. and tested positive for heartworms.. He is now finished with his heartworm treatments and will need to be on heartworm preventative.  He will be neutered. . He has truly blossomed since finding refuge. He is buttery soft, sweet as sugar, loves people including little ones, loves to play with toys, go for walks, and generally be around his person. He is good with puppies and submissive dogs. He is snuggly, wiggly, kissy and will make a remarkable forever dog. If you would like to know more about Floyd, please call Michele at 865-573-8804 or infostat@speakeasy.net.
