Read To Me
Last year, in partnership with Book Warehouse, a book was provided for each student enrolled in the nine Knox County preschool classes. Additional books were purchased by SMRC as part of the Read to Me Project. Parents were provided with a list of strategies as part of the book distribution. The purpose of the project was to encourage and promote reading with their children. Books were delivered during the week of February 14th. This projects supports the No Child Left Behind educational initiatives.

This project will continue for the 2007-2008 school year and will expand to included the additional pre-school classes added for this school year.
