How do I become a member of Solutions?
Any person who agrees with the Statement of Purpose of the organization and pays annual membership dues shall be a general member. Minimum membership dues are $5.00 per year, but scholarships are available to those who cannot afford this amount. Members choose the issues to be addressed, elect board members, and help to determine organizational goals. Benefits of membership include: opportunity to attend training and social justice gatherings and subscription to our newsletter, Speak Up!
Statement of Purpose: Multi-racial and member-run, Solutions is committed to training grassroots members to take direct action on the root causes of injustices. Supporting democratic principles and processes, Solutions believes that people have the right to make the decisions that affect them. Through organizing, people can have the power to be heard and to change society. Solutions’ goals are to promote justice, social and economic equality, and to improve the community’s quality of life.
