Saint Andrew's Church is a congregation of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, which began on the day of Pentecost after Jesus' resurrection, and which continues tothis day as the means by which God's work on earth is done. As a part of the Diocese of East Tennessee, and in communion with its Bishop, Saint Andrew's is a part of the Episcopal Church in the U.S.A., and thereby a part of the worldwide Anglican communion.

Collect for Christmas:
Almighty God, you have given your only begotten Son to take our nature upon him, and to be born of a pure virgin: Grant that we, who have been born again and made your children by adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by your Holy Spirit; through our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom with you and the same Spirit be honor and glory, now and for ever. Amen.
Troparion for the Nativity:
Thy nativity, O Christ our God, has shown to the world the light of wisdom; for by it, those who worshipped the stars were taught by a star to adore Thee the Sun of Righteousness, and to know Thee the Orient from on high. O Lord, glory to Thee.
Kontakion for the Nativity:
Today the virgin, gives birth to the incomprehensible One; and the earth offers a cave to the unapproachable One; Angels and shepherds glorify Him; the Wisemen journey with a star; since for our sakes is born the ETERNAL GOD, as a little Child.

We have created a mailing list type forum, hosted by Yahoogroups.com. On this page you will find a link to that site. This has been used for several years, and works well. If you are a member of the parish, a former member who wants
to keep up, or are interested in the health and well-being of the parish, you are invited to join. The process is simple and is done by following the links we provide here on this page. You can insert your email address in the box below and click the Yahoogroups button, or use the other links as listed, including to send messages to the list or to manage your subscription to the list. Be aware of the fact that when you subscribe, you may be asked who you are if your email address does not make it readily apparent or is unknown to the Webmaster. This is to prevent spammers from getting on this list and sending unwanted material to our listmembers. If the Webmaster doesn't know who you are, you won't be added to the group, and that is simply for the group's protection. We know you understand.
Please note that the host of the MAIL LIST is Yahoogroups, and St Andrew's Church bears no responsibility for any advertising; that is all there as placed by Yahoogroups, and is part of the price we pay for the group being free of charge. The gracious host of this WEBSITE always has been, and continues to be the
