COMMENTS FROM THE DIRECTOR

         The Sunrise Foundation has been true to its name and purpose since its establishment in 1998.  It has granted money in the areas of health services, educational programs and human services, helping to improve the quality of life for thousands of East Tennesseeans.

           The Sunrise Foundation has been lauded in many non-profit organization's newsletters, and it was chosen “Outstanding Foundation” by the Great Smoky Mountain chapter of the National Society of Fundraising Executives in 2001.  We, at the foundation, are proud to be part of God’s work.
