Perhaps you have an older Pentium sitting in a closet or corner of your home, or perhaps your business has some older computers stacked up in a store room. If so, there is still a use for those old computers. That use is in our children’s schools. Some of our schools do not have enough money to pay for new computers. But with your help and tax deductible equipment, we can give them the chance to learn on the computers to help them in the future.
Also, do you know someone who has a computer they are no longer using or are you part of a computer organization? If so, please let them know about Technology For Success, Inc. and how this organization helps our children with used computers.
But what good is an older Pentium?
There are still uses for these older
machines.
At the elementary level, they do not need to have the latest and greatest in computer equipment. They use the computer to learn their ABC’s and 123’s, or play interactive games where they need to help Captain Zooper make a sentence out of falling words before they hit the ground. These kinds of programs and many more do not need a Pentium III processor or lots of storage to run.
