Plans for New Parking Lot

(The area shaded in orange is the layout for the new parking area.)

Construction of the new Arboretum parking lot has begun. During this period, parking may be limited or unavailable. Please excuse any inconvenience this may cause. We will attempt to accommodate Arboretum visitors with temporary parking along the drive and around the office - please observe the "Temporary Parking" signs. Also, please stay away from construction equipment and activities. Read more about the new parking lot on the What's News? page. Watch this site for construction progress!

A Place for All Seasons

The University of Tennessee Arboretum is a place where trees and shrubs are cultivated for scientific and educational purposes. A project of the Agricultural Experiment Station's Forest Resources Research and Education Center, there are over 250 acres available for the public's enjoyment - during all seasons. Four self-guided walking tours provide access to the collections, display plantings, and the nature trails.
