Students entering the High School program for the first year (usually 9th graders) are required to complete through lesson 56 of Alfred Music's Basic Theory Program. After completing the entry level theory lessons the more advanced students use Practica Musicia. Two-thirds of the entering students have used Music Ace at one of the two feeder schools.
