Our Local Congregation West Village is an independent Restoration Movement church, one of many congregations worldwide which for over a century and a half have pleaded for the unity of all of God's people in the one Body. We hold no denominational ties, but join with other independent congregations for support of missions, spiritual encouragement, and Christian fellowship. We have no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible, and no name but Christian--being Christian only, but not the only Christians. Christ is the Head of the Church, and we consider every Christian a part of His body. We are not perfect saints; we are forgiven sinners growing in grace to spiritual maturity. We seek to speak where the Bible speaks, and remain silent where the Bible is silent. We take the Bible alone as our rule of faith and practice.

Our Members We are a community church, with the majority of members living in Oak Ridge and nearby communities. We seek all to offer worship and fellowship for the whole family, different styles and formats for Sunday services, small groups and other educational opportunities. Worship Style We offer two different styles of worship In our main sanctuary we offer more traditional music (mostly hymns) following a traditional format On the East Side we offer contemporary music, relaxed setting, visually stimulating activities striving to provide a more "organic" worship experience
